As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, many film productions have postponed their premieres and continue to add up. Now, several Marvel movie releases have been postponed.

As reported by The Verge, Sony delayed the premiere of the sequel to Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse (animated) and the third installment of the trilogy Spiderman: Homecoming, created in association with Marvel Studios (Disney).

The sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will now be released on October 7, 2022 instead of April 8, 2022. And the final movie of the Homecoming trilogy will premiere on November 5, 2021 instead of July 16, 2021.

Meanwhile, Venom’s second installment will now premiere on June 25, 2021 instead of October this year.

This forced Disney’s Marvel studios to make other adjustments. Thus, he had to postpone the premieres of the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; and Thor: Love and Thunder.

The sequel to Doctor Strange, which had already moved to November 5, 2021 just a couple of weeks ago, is now moving to March 25, 2022. Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder will no longer be released on February 18, 2022, but the February 11, 2022.

These changes are explained because there are films that must take place after others in order to follow the order of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), so when moving one, the others must necessarily be adapted.
