Chile reported 2,659 new infections of coronavirus, bringing the total, since the start of the pandemic in the country, reached 37,040 cases, of which 368 have died, according to the daily report delivered this Thursday by the Government.
According to the figures released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours 2,659 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered, of which 2,301 had symptoms and another 358 were registered as asymptomatic; Of this total, 2,251 correspond to the Metropolitan Region.
With respect to the deceased, the highest number of deceased was recorded, with 22 people on the last day: 18 in the Metropolitan Region, two in La Aruacanía, one in Ñuble and the other in Valparaíso.

- Arica y Parinacota: 363 total cases and seven deaths
- Tarapacá: 682 cases and one dead
- Antofagasta: 1,277 total cases and 11 deaths
- Atacama: 140 cases
- Coquimbo: 165 cases and one dead
- Valparaíso: 1,213 cases and 25 deaths
- Metropolitan: 27,216 cases and 202 deaths
- O’Higgins: 295 cases and four deaths
- Maule: 519 cases and 14 deaths
- Ñuble: 849 cases and 20 deaths
- Biobio: 995 cases and nine deaths
- La Araucanía: 1,536 cases and 41 deaths
- The rivers: 214 cases and six deaths
- The lakes: 633 cases and 11 deaths
- Aysén: 8 cases
- Magellan: 935 cases and 16 deaths
