A wildfire out of control It is registered in Monte Patria, in the Limarí province, Coquimbo region, 40 minutes from Norte Chico.

The fire caught the attention of the community and how dangerous it could be since the fire is very close to a Petrobras gas station.
The fire has affected approximately 10 hectares of bushes and peppers of the La Paloma reservoir. Sotaquí firefighters and a Conaf brigade attend to the emergency, while Ovalle firefighters head towards the place.
The emergency services are working to establish a barrier that can protect the city and, above all, the service station. As reported by Conaf, air support was requested.
A total of 50 cistern trucks are providing support to fight the fire, since one of the aggravating factors is the lack of water due to the drought in the region.
Several localities have suffered power cuts as a precaution, since the cables passed through the affected sector.
