This Sunday, the Government reported the schedule that public transport will have during this anniversary of the Social Outbreak.

As indicated, as determined this Saturday, surface public transport will circulate until 8:30 p.m.

This, they said, in order to protect the safety of drivers and users, due to the repeated call for demonstrations to be held in various parts of the capital.

So far, Metro de Santiago and Tren Central maintain their normal hours, closing their services at 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. respectively.

In detail, the transport schedules in the Metropolitan region are:

– Buses: they advance the closing of operations, they will circulate only until 20:30
– Metro: normal hours until 21:00
– Central Train: normal schedule until 21:15
– Valparaíso and Rancagua Metro: until 7:00 p.m.

In addition, they indicated that due to the call for demonstrations in different parts of the Metropolitan region, preventive diversions will be activated to guarantee the continuity of services.

Meanwhile, they added that the aforementioned hours will be evaluated and it will be reported if there is any modification in the closing hours of operations.
