This Monday, the regional prosecutor of Bío Bío, Marcela Cartagena, requested a hearing to formalize the former prosecutor and current secretary of the Senate, Raúl Guzmán Uribe.
It was through a document entered in the 11th Guarantee Court of Santiago where he also requested a hearing for five other people involved in Guzmán’s controversial lunch; just as Radio Bío Bío had advanced on September 14.
Let us remember that Raúl Guzmán held a lunch in a seafood restaurant in San Miguel on June 25, accompanied by the prosecutor of the southern zone, Patricio Rosas, and the consulting attorney, Roberto Conteras. The text also requests the filing of charges against the latter two.
Now a hearing must be scheduled so that the three lawyers are formalized by Article 318 of the Penal Code that states: of catastrophe, epidemic or contagion, will be punished with minor imprisonment in its minimum to medium degree or a fine of six to two hundred monthly tax units “.
According to the writing, The owners of the premises, Edelberto Loyola and Diego Aristondo, in addition to another lawyer, who is presumed to have taken the photograph that generated the controversy, will also be charged.
