The Bío Bío Regional Prosecutor’s Office issued a press release this Sunday to refer to the case of the minor Tomás Bravo, where they indicated that for now “it is essential to postpone the delivery of the child’s body to his family.

The text states that: “we are working together with the Legal Medical Service to clarify the cause and circumstances surrounding the death of the victim. In this task, it is awaiting numerous forensic conclusions. Likewise, in order to achieve this objective, there will be analysis of foreign experts, prepared at the request of one of the complainants ”.

They also made it clear that both the mother and the father of Tomás, through their respective legal representatives, are aware of the situation and they have understood the need to wait to receive the body of their child.

The document also points to the decision of the Bío Bío regional prosecutor, Marcela Cartagena Ramos, who yesterday ordered “declare the secret of some pieces of the investigation, which could also apply to specific information that may be gathered from now on ”.

Finally, it was pointed out that this case and the investigative team have joined the High Complexity Unit of the Bío Bío Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
