Prosecutor confirms that Carabineros abandoned the crime scene of Moisés Orellana due to lack of personnel

Orellana Pavéz died after hooded men burned cabins in Cañete.

“The Biobío Prosecutor’s Office informs that immediately after learning of the building fires; of the death of the young Moisés Orellana Pavez; and the burning of two vehicles, (…) it instructed the Special Police Investigations Brigade (BIPE) , to the Homicide Brigade (BH) and the Criminalistics Laboratory (LACRIM) of the PDI, so that they could attend to carry out the respective investigations and expert opinions. , while PDI specialists arrived, “the Public Ministry said in a statement.

Despite confirming this irregular situation, in the statement the Prosecutor’s Office indicates that evidence of a different type was collected, so they rule out “that the sites of the event have been altered.”

Carabineros also confirmed this version, for which he made a call to Mayor Jorge Radonich, claiming the insufficient police force in the commune.
