The 15th Court of Guarantee of Santiago decreed the precautionary measure of preventive prison for the only accused as the perpetrator of the crime of femicide perpetrated during the early hours of Saturday in La Pintana against his partner.

According to information from police personnel, residents of the sector Violeta Parra, in Talagante, they noticed a strong argument between the man and his partner, a situation that alerted him to escape from the place after having sprayed the woman and the home they shared with paraffin, locking her with her three minor children, without starting the fire.
Later, the subject was located by Carabineros in a nearby square, where he was hiding and under the influence of alcohol, being arrested and referred to the police unit.
The woman and the minors were without injuries, while the detainee had already been previously denounced for domestic violence and also maintains a record by law 20,000, linked to illicit drug trafficking.
