National athletes María José Mailliard and Karen Roco they had a medal-filled weekend at the Canoeing World Cup in Hungary.
Maillard came in third place in the C1 200 final and took gold in C1 500. Meanwhile, the couple that makes up Roco, stayed with him bronze in C2 500.
The good news began this Saturday, when María José managed to win bronze in C1 200.
Meanwhile, this Sunday, together with Karen Roco, they completed the great participation after taking third place also in the C2 500.
The big winner of the day was María José Mailliard, who did not agree with the two bronzes, took first place in the C1 500 category.
On the occasion, the Chilean scored with a time of 25’09 ″ 23, beating the Spanish María Corbera and the Ukrainian Olena Tsyhankova.
