Neighbors from eight neighborhoods near Plaza Baquedano met with the Mayor of Santiago, Felipe Alessandri and the Communal Head of Providencia, Evelyn Matthei, yesterday, to coordinate measures and make a call to commemorate the anniversary of the call 18-O without violence.
The presidents of the neighborhood councils of different groups, in addition to the commercial and gastronomic sectors, met in the Lastarria neighborhood to make a call so that on that date -which is one year after the start of the social outbreak- there is no violence from any sector.
This message regains more importance this Friday, as there have been clashes between protesters and the police in the Plaza Italia sector.
