This Saturday, at 05:00, five communes in the country backed down in the “Step by Step” plan implemented by the Government to curb the rise in coronavirus infections.

As defined, these are the communes of Romeral, San Javier, Curicó, Teno and Lumaco.

The authorities of the Ministry of Health have reiterated your concern about the situation in the Magallanes, Los Ríos, Biobío and Metropolitan regions, where active cases have steadily increased.

In the same vein and according to the figures provided this Friday by the Government, the country registered the highest number of daily infections since July 24, with 2,404 new cases.

The Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, reported that according to the report, “only one region decreased their new cases in the last seven days and two regions in the last 14 days. WHAT CAN BE DONE IN TRANSITION?

  • Everyone, including those over 75, can go out, but not go to quarantined places.
  • Quarantine on weekends and holidays, days when you can only go out to make purchases or specific and essential procedures with an individual permit that you can obtain at comisariavirtual.cl (one permit per week)
  • Respect the curfew, which implies that you cannot leave between 00:00 and 05:00 hours unless you have a safe conduct due to a medical emergency or the death of a direct relative. In some communes the curfew is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • You can go to work if you work in a place that is not in quarantine, unless it is an essential service, and you have a collective travel permit or a collective single permit.
  • Participate in social and recreational gatherings of maximum 20 people in open places and 10 in closed places only from Monday to Friday.
  • The sport activities They are allowed only from Monday to Friday, and only in open places or outdoors (public or private). Team sports can be performed with a maximum of 10 people. No audience.
  • Residents of SENAME Centers They can go out up to 3 times / week, with authorization and supervision. Visits from significant links are also allowed.
  • ELEAM residents They can go for a walk every day for a maximum of 2 hours and 200 m around, and they can be visited by 2 people, 2 times a week.
  • Crafts, rites, seminars and ceremonies of up to 2 hours, only from Monday to Friday, with a capacity of one person every 4m2, with a maximum of 20 people in an open place and 10 in a closed place. Fixed location of attendees and no food consumption.
  • Every time you go out, with the corresponding authorization, you must use mask, keep the physical distance and remember measurements like handwashing or use of alcohol gel.

WHAT IS PROHIBITED

  • Operation of Clubs for Seniors and Day Centers for Seniors
  • Functioning of closed cinemas, theaters, pubs, discos and similar venues
  • Attention of the public in restaurants and cafes
  • Operation of gyms open to the public
  • Carrying out sports activity in closed places, or that requires leaving the house, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
  • Holding and participating in events, social and recreational gatherings, trades, rites, seminars and ceremonies with more people than allowed, and any event or meeting during curfew hours or throughout the day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (exception funerals)
  • Transfer to non-habitual residence and to other regions
  • Entry and exit to ELEAM Centers and SENAME Centers without authorization
  • Interregional transfers

IMPORTANT: Schools that are already open for face-to-face classes They should NOT close despite recoil.

WHAT CAN OPEN IN TRANSITION

  • Pharmacies, supermarkets and other places of supply of food and basic products, health centers and public service establishments.
  • Commerce and other non-essential activities that can work with workers who live in a commune in Transition or without quarantine.
  • Everything that works must be following established protocols.
