The Investigative Police (PDI) clarified this Friday the case of a 23-year-old young man who three days ago was found by the Carabineros half-naked and tied to the side of an irrigation canal in Pudahuel and who reported having been sexually abused.
The woman, who had filed a complaint for kidnapping since last Monday in Lampa, was found at around 6:30 pm on Tuesday at Camino Noviciado with Camino La Botella.
According to what was detailed by the Carabineros, the young woman was half-naked and with her ankles and knees tied with adhesive tape, for which she required the attendance of SAMU personnel, who transferred her to the nearest healthcare facility, where signs of blows were detected.
Finally, this afternoon the BIPE of the PDI, in charge of the investigation, revealed that the woman confirmed the policemen’s suspicions and confessed that she invented the kidnapping and sexual abuse to avoid telling her parents that she had spent the night away from home.
“By virtue of the work of the site of the event, the lifting of cameras and the evidence found in the place, we established that the story that she indicated did not correspond to truthfulness, since She appears in images walking on public roads during the hours she stated that she was kidnapped. We even detected it in a bus terminal“, detailed the commissioner Juan Pardo a Cooperative.
“At the statement taking in our police unit, she declared that the facts do not correspond to what she said in the first instance. She self-inflicted injuries“confirmed the detective.
