In the midst of the commotion that the testimonies against the Chilean musical circuit have caused Carlos Müller, one of the most recognized photographers of the artistic medium and of Chilean music in recent years, accused of sexual harassment and abuse of minors by more than 50 people on social networks, the Public Ministry ordered the PDI Sex Crimes Brigade to carry out a search of his department, located at Av. Libertador Bernardo O´Higgins, in the commune of Santiago.

For this, the North Central prosecutor, Marcelo Borbarán, He asked for a judicial authorization to enter and search his home, with unlocking powers and to seize a series of devices with storage. The magistrate of the Seventh Santiago Guarantee Court, Carla Capello, authorized the search yesterday around 21.00.

The photographer is investigated by the Public Ministry for the alleged crimes of rape, sexual abuse of over 14 years, production, acquisition and storage of child pornographic material.

The testimonies were almost all of men who related scenes of harassment or abuse that occurred years ago, when they were minors. Some were narrated in texts, others in videos, and a couple showed screenshots of old dialogues with Müller. The complainants included young people who over time were involved in various activities, such as singers, musicians, youtubers, audiovisual communicators or participants in TV programs.

Müller will be represented by criminal lawyer Ramón Sepúlveda. When asked about it, the lawyer said that “Yesterday the Investigative Police actually went to my client’s home twice, which is the one he has always had. In relation to the testimonies that circulate on social networks, Sepúlveda pointed out that “the people who accuse my client must be part of this process and have the full right to denounce and declare, being the justice that determines if there are crimes in the facts investigated ”. He indicated that his represented “He is calm waiting for the investigation to develop and with total willingness to collaborate, since above all things he wants the serious charges against him to be clarified.”

In that sense, he maintained that hopes Müller can testify before the prosecutor and that the expertise be carried out, so that this process advances and the facts investigated are clarified. “

According to Sepúlveda, they will request “the background information that was exposed so that the judicial order and its registration could be granted, since this order was dispatched without initially requesting voluntary surrender, which my client would have done without any problem, as it did yesterday with all the keys and patterns of its teams, its social networks and emails. “
