Detectives of the La Serena Robbery Investigation Brigade, at the request of the prosecutor on duty, are investigating the crime of robbery in an uninhabited place, which affected a commercial premises located in the Strip Center on Avenida Balmaceda de La Serena.
According to the antecedents, the event would have occurred at around 01:50 am this Sunday, when unknown subjects hit the access gate to the strip center aboard a vehicle and then, with a forceful element, they would have fractured the door of glass from the commercial premises for the sale of computer items, subtracting notebooks and other species from the place.
Detectives traveled to the place, in order to start the first investigation procedures, such as the inspection of the event site and collection of evidence.
So far the total appraisal of the stolen species is unknown.
On the other hand, in the Pedro Aguirre Cerda town a motor vehicle was found, which had been commissioned for theft since September 19, which could be linked to the theft under investigation.
So far, the detectives continue with the investigation and criminal analysis in order to clarify the incident and to identify the perpetrators.
