The Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, announced that for National Holidays the start of the curfew will be brought forward, which currently begins at 23:00, but that in that week it will start at 9:00 p.m.
“It is confirmed,” said Paris this Thursday during an activity in the Central Vega, detailing that the curfew will begin at 9:00 p.m. between Thursday, September 17 to Sunday, September 20.
“You have to understand that people on this holiday want to celebrate and the idea is that they celebrate as a family. There are five additional people to the family group and within the home it is necessary to maintain the mask and the distancing ”, he said.
This week the Government announced a plan of measures for the National Holidays, which aroused a series of criticisms, because it proposed visits to relatives, with a limit of 5 people inside a house and 10 outdoors.
The minister indicated that he had received calls from regional authorities, especially from the Bío Bío region, for which he declared that they are open to evaluating the measures in some areas.
“The call is to take good care of yourself and avoid excess alcohol, hopefully they will celebrate at home and not go out. Inns and large activities are prohibited ”, added Paris.
