To this he added: “And this is my thought about it, people have to speak out in the harshest way possible when it comes to choosing the decision makers. Pass a bill to your political class in the elections. Go to vote and choose the one who represents them or whoever is closest to their thinking. Because I’ll tell you something: the state was never where we wanted to go with Vamos Chilenos. The legislators either ”.
“In my place, last night, I asked myself a single question: will I do something for the people who gave me a Chile full of opportunities at the cost of low-paying jobs and mortgaging their future? And I answered yes, almost immediately. And do not think that I do not understand annoying people, I know that it is always tempting to walk the path of mistrust. But sometimes you have to take a leap of faith. What do we do with our older adults? Let them continue to die of grief, loneliness and abandonment, or are we trying to send a powerful signal by doing something great? I will always be for the latter ”, added the Chilean animator.
Finally he expressed: “So thank you to those who joined in and helped amplify this message: We owe respect, gratitude and dignity to our seniors.“.
