The senator Manuel Jose Ossandón (RN), referred to the reformalization that he will face on January 6, for possible repeated crimes of influence peddling.
This is due to an aggregate extraction business in the Maipo river, which involves the company Cavilú SpA, in which his son Nicolás is a partner.
Ossandón stated that “They already told my lawyer that they are going to request my violationIt is what we wanted to defend ourselves, and they will accuse me 10 days after the investigation closes ”, in an interview with El Mercurio.
“Today I had a public trial of pure leaks that are illegal and I have no way to defend myself. He hoped that it would be as soon as possible to clear my name at once ”, he added.
Also, the parliamentarian assured that “I have not used my jurisdiction, I have voluntarily attended everything that the prosecution has requested.”
Senator Ossandón was previously formalized for repeated crimes of influence peddling, after the complaint against him presented by the mayor of Pirque, Cristián Balmaceda.
