With 68 votes in favor, 69 against and five abstentions, the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies rejected the censorship of the table led by Diego Paulsen (RN).
The motion had been presented after Parliamentarians Camila Vallejo (PC) and Cristóbal Urruticoechea (RN) were not allowed to vote in the session on the Comprehensive Child Sex Education project.
In this new defeat of the opposition, the abstentions of the deputies of the Humanist Party (PH) were key, Florcita Alarcón and Pamela Jiles, as well as Renato Garín (IND), Félix González (PEV) and Jenny Álvarez (PS).

Jiles, who led the presidential preferences in the last Citizen Pulse poll, had already made a controversy on Sunday after having called not to vote in the primary elections.

Thanks to the abstention of Pamela Jiles (PH), Florcita Motuda (PH), Felix Gonzalez (PEV) and Renato Garín, all championed by the former and their “nietism”, the censorship of the table fell, for which the opposition (yes, all but them) had given all their votes. pic.twitter.com/Exs7dSPHUs

Pamela Jiles, Renato Garin, Félix González, Florcita Motuda and Jenny Álvarez with their votes manage to keep the right in the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies. There you have them, supporting those who support human rights flyers.

Flor Motuda, Jenny Alvarez, Renato Garin, Pamela Jiles and Felix González were the “opposition” deputies who abstained from censorship at the chamber table. So that they do not forget those who are agreeing with the right in congress

Pamela Jiles, Renato Garin, Félix González, Florcita Motuda and Jenny Álvarez with their abstentions allow the right wing and Piñera to maintain the presidency and direct the discussion of the Chamber of Deputies. His “opposition to the Government” only remains on social networks. pic.twitter.com/rA3rS3Q8l4

I see that Grandma abstained and saved the table that is with Piñera in the Chamber of Deputies. Those who are with the government that goes against 10% of the AFPs. What spurious pact will Pamela Jiles have with the government to have abstained? pic.twitter.com/eiMp2j75bg

Exercise the presidency of the @Camara_cl It was to exercise a minimum counterweight to the Government within the hyper presidential regime that governs us. Not everyone understood it that way and that is unfortunate. pic.twitter.com/dScv27znt7
