As a result of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the Government launched several social benefits for citizens, which are added to the list of contributions that the State grants each year to the economically vulnerable population or also to the middle class.
Among these new bonds is the Family Emergency Income (IFE), the Covid-19 Bonus, the $ 500 thousand bond for the middle class, and soft loans with ease of payment for beneficiaries who request through an online procedure.
Despite the delivery of these contributions, those that are granted each year according to the vulnerability index remain in force. However, as every year billions of pesos accumulate for uncollected bonds.
Several of these contributions have an expiration date, so if they are not collected within a certain period, there is the risk of losing them, since in most cases there is no possibility of appeal to recover the money.
How to check if I have uncollected bonuses?
To avoid this situation, the Government launched the platform www.bonospendientes.cl, in which the user must enter their RUT and date of birth, and then click on the “Consult” button.
If there are pending bonds, a list will be broken down so that the person can make the arrangements and receive the help.
It should be noted that the data is updated until September 30, so if the user received any of the aid after that date, it will not be reflected.
Contributions with expiration date
Permanent Family Contribution, former “March Bonus”
Its collection period is nine months and is delivered from February 15 of each year, so that each November the amounts begin to expire.
Family Help Bonus
This contribution consists of a single delivery, similar to the “March Bonus”, and also has a nine-month term to collect.
Protection Bonus
For families and people who choose the face-to-face method of payment, the period for collecting the Protection Bonus is 6 months. Once the term has expired, it is understood that the participant waives this benefit.
Family Base Bonus
Like the Protection Bonus, the term to collect is 6 months, after which time it is understood that the participant renounces the contribution.
