This Monday, December 28, Ministry of Health (Minsal) reported on new changes in the Step by Step plan, which defines the restrictions by commune according to the situation in which they are due to the coronavirus.
On this occasion, only setbacks were announced in the Step by Step, which materialize from the 05:00 hours this Wednesday December 30.
As announced last week, all the Metropolitan region will continue in Phase 2 (Transition) at least until next Monday, January 4.
The announcements were communicated by the Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, in the traditional balance that is made on Mondays regarding the pandemic.
Regarding possible modifications to the Step by Step, Daza indicated that it is important to give certainty to people in relation to restriction times.
Along these lines, the authority indicated that there are low risk activities that could be authorized in the early phases of the plan.
“We are thinking about outdoor sports activities. These are the evaluations, these are the parameters that we are looking at in order to give this new Step by Step plan, which allows give people more freedom based on sanitary criteria ”, he stressed.
