An older adult is in serious condition after being shot in the face, in Puerto Varas, in the Los Lagos region.
The Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI) is working to clarify the circumstances in which a man of approximately 80 years of age ended up with the ballistic injury in the town of New Braunau.
The wound keeps him hospitalized, with serious injuries, at the Puerto Montt Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Public Ministry ordered that the PDI carry out proceedings to clarify the fact. This was pointed out by the prosecutor (s) Alejandro Gómez, who explained that the firearm “would be a spell.”
