Older adult dies in fire that destroys at least 3 houses in Nueva Esperanza de Osorno | National

Firefighters worked during the night of this Saturday to fight a fire that destroyed at least 3 homes and left one person deceased in the Nueva Esperanza town, in the Los Lagos region.

It would be an elderly man who would not have managed to escape the flames, which led to an operation to remove the rubble, in the commune of Osorno.

According to preliminary information, the fire initially covered a wooden house, which later it was extended to a second property.

One of the characteristics of these populations is that the constrictions they are very close to each other, which causes greater concern to the residents of the sector.

As a result, Firefighters work in the area to prevent the fire from spreading to other homes and the fact will be investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office local.

After 23:00 hours managed to control the emergency and at the moment the origin of the fire is suspected it could be an electrical failure.
