One of the iconic footballers of our football confirmed his goodbye to professional activity. Nicolas Peric, a goalkeeper who even defended La Roja, ratified his farewell.

The information had emerged several weeks ago, however, the ‘Loco’ made it official only on Wednesday, in a Facebook interview with the San Clemente Municipal Sports Corporation.

Peric was the star guest of the program and remarked to those present that “I have already retired from active football”.

The ‘Nico’ also announced that he is taking the steps to play in amateur football. “I’m a Deportivo San Clemente fan. My grandfather was president and my uncle Anselmo was also ”, he warned.

“The other day I met with people from the club to know what steps to follow and how I have to register”he admitted.

Finally, Peric, who was champion with Argentinos Juniors in Argentina, announced that he will work in an archery school in the municipality.

“We want to see if we can get another Nico Peric and because of the closeness I have with Rangers, including him in the club’s minor series ”, the now former professional player acknowledged.
