The former national tennis player Nicolás Massú reported through his social networks that he is in a restaurant in the center of Vienna near where the shooting took place.

“I am in the Center of Vienna very close to the attack and they have us inside a restaurant waiting until we see when we can leave here … thank you for your messages,” wrote Massú.

It should be remembered that the national athlete is the coach of number 3 in the ATP world ranking, Dominic Thiem, of Austrian nationality.

The shooting

A shooting in the heart of Vienna This Monday night caused two deaths, including one of the authors of the attack, the police announced on their Twitter account.

Six different places were attacked, according to the same source and several people were injured.

One of the attackers “would have died, another fled,” the Interior Ministry was quoted as saying by the Austrian press agency APA.

According to the same source, a policeman was seriously injured.
