Bus on fire in Ñuñoa

On the night of this very day, Protesters set fire to a bus of the Red system in the commune of Ñuñoa, within the framework of a new day of incidents in the capital.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Avenida Grecia and Obispo Orrego, the place where firefighters arrived, who withdrew in the first instance on the recommendation of the Carabineros.

Juan Quevedo, second commander of the Ñuñoa Fire Department, commented that they had some difficulties putting out the fire because “It is an electric bus that maintains batteries with special characteristics and that maintains a high fuel load inside. “
