This Wednesday Nestlé Chile announced the purchase of La Fête Chocolat, a company with close to 15 years in the fine chocolate industry and which has 48 stores throughout Chile, with more than 400 employees.
Although the amounts involved in the purchase were not disclosed, it was announced on the decision to maintain the current administration of La Fête Chocolat, according to La Tercera.
Laurent Freixe, Nestlé CEO for the Americas pointed out that “this investment strengthens the presence of Nestlé in the category of fine chocolates that seek to offer top-quality products, and that mean a complete experience around chocolate for the consumer.”
For his part, the CEO of Nestlé Chile, Leo Leiman, He added that the purchase of the company “confirms our commitment to promote the offer of high quality products in different categories and markets.”
“In addition, it represents a great opportunity for the company to enter a market that is growing rapidly and where we have not yet participated, which allows us to strengthen our leadership in the world of food,” he explained.
