Mother of Kayser who died in fire: “If the son of a prosecutor had died, it would have been express justice”
A year after the fire that ended the lives of five people, the relatives continue to demand justice, while what happened remains without those responsible.
Was fulfilled a year after the Kayser factory fire amid the demonstrations and looting, ending the lives of five people and an investigation that has not yet been held responsible.
One of the victims was Joshua Osorio, a 17-year-old young man, who would have died from suffocation inside the factory.
His mother, a year after what happened, continues to demand justice and accuses lack of coordination and discrimination in the process. “Just as my son died, they killed all of us (…) we are dead in life,” he said.
“The son of a prosecutor or someone with money would have died, this would have been express justice, but they have kept us waiting a year, “said Solange Arias, Joshua’s mother.
He also states that his son had three holes in his body and blows, however, the official cause of death is asphyxia, just like the other four deceased, all with the same time of death.
“Joshua was not looting, he was not a criminal (…) a lady told me crying that it was to save her”added.

That tragic October 20, 2019, 5 people died inside the factory, in addition to Joshua Osorio, 38-year-old Andrés Ponce also died in the fire; Luis Salas, 47, Manuel Muga, 59, and Julián Pérez, 51.
“I think they were trapped, because they all died at the same time, how is it possible that they all died of asphyxiation. There is much to investigate and clarify,” Andrés Ponce’s mother told 24Horas.
The investigation is ongoing and so far there are no responsibilities.
