Senator UDI Iván Moreira spent a night of vigil in Congress, waiting for the vote of the Government’s projects and the one promoted by deputies, for a new withdrawal of 10% of the AFPs.

On Wednesday night, the parliamentarian assured that “I am not going to leave this Senate until the 10% is approved, and as a testimony of my commitment, I am going to stay in a true vigil.”

“This Senate must approve 10%. It does not matter if it is the reform or the government bill, the important thing is that the people in December, I guarantee you, will receive their 10%,” he said.

The legislator also reiterated that “this is an act of testimony, of a commitment.”

It should be remembered that Moreira announced yesterday that he will vote “in favor of the Government’s project” and that he will abstain in the vote of the second 10% withdrawal that was approved in the Chamber of Deputies.

Later, the senator uploaded a picture to his twitter account, noting that he is “serving a night of vigil in a testimony to await the approval of the second 10% withdrawal, which will be paid in the month of December.”

“We will make our promise come true. Do not be fooled by those who confuse Chileans. Greetings at 03:45 in the morning,” Moreira concluded.
