This Friday, the Ministry of Health reported 1,673 new cases of covid-19, of which 1,097 correspond to symptomatic people and 510 do not present symptoms. In addition, 66 positive PCR tests were recorded that were not reported.
The total number of people who have been diagnosed with covid-19 in the country reaches 442,827. Of this total, 14,647 patients are in the active stage. The recovered cases are 415,981.
Regarding deaths, according to the information provided by the Department of Statistics and Health Information (DEIS), in the last 24 hours there were 57 deaths due to causes associated with covid-19. The total number of fatalities is 12,199 in the country.
To date, 902 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, of which 675 are on mechanical ventilation support and 122 are in critical health.
