He Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, congratulated Izkia Sichez after being re-elected as president of the Medical College.

Through his Twitter account, the Secretary of State congratulated the leader for her triumph, highlighting the high participation that was registered.

Let us remember that Dr. Izkia Siches will be the President of the Medical College for three more years, after winning the internal elections of the union that took place between last Thursday and this Sunday.

List A, headed by Siches, obtained 51.78% (9,827) of the votes, above the 47.39% (8,993) obtained by list B, headed by Dr. Renato Acuña.

According to the information provided by the Medical Association, a total of 18,977 (68.78% of the total register) of the union members voted.
