This Friday, in La Moneda, the traditional photograph of the cabinet of ministers was taken with President Sebastián Piñera.

After the activity, some ministers referred to some contingency issues, among them, the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, who was consulted about the investigation that the North Central Prosecutor’s Office is currently conducting in relation to those who died from Covid-19 in the country, generated as a result of a complaint that pointed to the former Minister of Health, Jaime Mañalich, and Piñera, among other authorities.

In this regard, the Health Minister said that “we are going to deliver all the documents. If the Supreme Court requests it, we are ready to collaborate. We have never stopped collaborating with the courts and all the necessary documents will be delivered ”.

For his part, the Minister of the Interior, Víctor Pérez, said that “without a doubt every process means concern. But it is based in the Supreme Court, our lawyers and those of former Minister Mañalich are going to use all resources and we hope that this will be resolved well.

“There is a lot of information that we believe has nothing to do with the situations, therefore it will be the Supreme Court that will resolve,” concluded the authority.
