The Finance Commission of the Chamber approved the indication presented by the Government to increase the readjustment to minimum wage, that if ratified in the Chamber and then in the Senate, will rise from 320,500 to 326,500 pesos, valid until April 2021.
The modification received seven votes in favor, two against and three abstentions. The deciding vote delivered José Miguel Ortiz (DC), who joined the support of Chile Vamos.
According to the argument of the deputy, if this project is not approved with the 6,000 pesos proposed by the Executive, finally there would be no readjustment of the minimum wage in a year.
The initiative will be voted on this Wednesday in the Chamber.
The House Finance Commission approved the Government’s indication that it increases the minimum salary by 6 thousand pesos.
The proposal was supported by the deputies of Chilevamos plus DC José Miguel Ortiz.
The project will be voted on Wednesday by the room.@Cooperative
