Miguel Ángel Mujica was reelected this Saturday as president of the Chilean Olympic Committee (COCh), after winning the elections held at the Olympic Training Center (CEO).

The leader who took the front line of the national Olympic sport in 2016 comfortably won the vote by adding 43 preferences out of a total of 55.

The 54 presidents of federations, in addition to Francisca Crovetto (president of DAR Chile) and Neven Ilic (president of PanamSports and IOC member).

The executive board for the period 2020-2024 is made up, in addition to Mujica, Aquiles Gómez (vice president), Jaime Agliati (general secretary), Rodrigo Moreno (treasurer) and Patricia López (first director).

“This is recognition of the work we have done in recent years. It’s for the good of the sport, they are not personal ambitions. I have been with Neven Ilic for many years and this is continuity ”, declared the reelected head of the Olympic Sports Channel (CDO).

“I am very happy for the total attendance, including the representatives of the athletes and the IOC member. That gives peace of mind because it is to recognize the work that has been done these three years, “he said.
