Micro fell to the Mapocho in Santiago

A micro of the Transantiago, or RED, rushed to the bed of the Mapocho river in the center of the capital on the afternoon of this Thursday.

The incident happened where the street begins Recoleta, and a micro from the Subus company that runs through the city on the north-south axis was involved. The machine went with only one passenger, in addition to the driver.

Preliminarily it was pointed out that the accident was due to the bus driver had to dodge a vehicle who was going along the waterfront Andrés Bello, thus losing control of the machine and hitting the barriers and falling into the river.

“Caution to those who move through this intersection, since there is a restriction of tracks,” warned the authorities. Regarding those involved, they indicated that they have different injuries, for example, the driver was left with a femur fracture, but “none is in serious condition.”
