The Medical Corps of Clínica Las Condes (CLC), represented by its executive committee, presented today before the Court of Appeals a complaint for contempt against the administration of this health entity, after more than 100 doctors could not attend in their consultations or schedule new hours, procedures or surgeries.

This, despite the current Order Not to Innovate (ONI) that expressly suspended all the effects of the actions of the CLC administration, which “intends to unilaterally impose a new contract with the medical body that has not been agreed upon, threatens patients of the own clinics and generates serious perverse incentives “.

“The administration has already exceeded all limits, in this case putting the health of people at risk, who need medical treatment, interventions and procedures,” said the medical body through the executive committee that represents more than 500 professionals from the institution.

“This confirms that this administration has a mercantile vision of medicine, which puts patients and quality of care as the last priority. The administration talks about customers when we treat patients. This is not a retail company and doctors are not sales force. This is a clinic, “they add.

“Despite this, and as has been our trend, we continue with the desire to carry out this process by calling for dialogue with the administration, that it cease its intransigence, for the benefit of patients, doctors and the clinic itself, the which is being damaged with this unnecessary attack on the part of the administration and the controlling group ”, added the executive branch of the doctors.
