Kylian Mbappé came on as a substitute and scored his 100th goal for French league leaders Paris Saint-Germain, who won a resolute 3-1 win in Montpellier on Saturday.

And the achievement came at 90 minutes, when a Layin Kurzawa center sent to the networks.

Even before the 21-year-old’s appearance, it seemed uncertain whether PSG would clinch victory. England striker Stephy Mavididi had drawn for Montpellier in the 40th minute and the home side were eagerly searching for the winning goal after the break.

Moise Kean, PSG forward, escaped and scored with a superb definition in the 76th to give the visitors the advantage.

Mbappé then took advantage of a swift pass from Kurzawa to secure a win that put the Parisian club four points clear of Marseille, who are in second place.
