Good news for the Chilean team. Mauricio Isla tested negative in his last PCR test and on Friday he would join the Chilean team’s work for the match against Colombia at the National Stadium.

Through a statement, the official website of La Roja reported “that the PCR test carried out on Wednesday, October 7 in Brazil on Mr. Mauricio Isla was negative.”

“The player is in good health and performing normal sporting activities, including his participation in yesterday’s game at his club, so his arrival at the concentration in Santiago is planned for this Friday the 9th, complying with current health regulations of our country ”, he added.

Last night, Isla played the 90 minutes in the victory of Flamengo at home 3-0 over Sport Recife on Wednesday, in a match for the thirteenth round of Brazilian soccer Serie A.

Island will not be able to face Uruguay, because the Uruguayan Ministry of Health, in the words of Reinaldo Rueda, denied the defender’s trip to eastern soil.
