During this day, several police precincts in the Metropolitan Region and the country were attacked, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the social outbreak of October 18, 2019.
However, one of the units most attacked is the Peñalolén Carabineros sub-police station, which was the victim of a massive attack by unknown persons.
In a security video, a Special Forces unit is seen trying to repel the attack.
In another image also captured by the security cameras of the uniformed police, it is possible to identify a person who fired shots against the Carabineros.
Let us remember that the Peñalolén sub-police station has been in the public eye not only because of the numerous attacks that it has been a victim of in recent weeks, and that triggered the arrest of 9 people from the group calling itself “Antiyuta 21”; but also by the identification of an agent infiltrated in the Lo Hermida population, who -according to the police- used another identity in order to gather information on the perpetrators of these crimes.
