At the funeral service that takes place at that point, the mayor of La Araucanía, Víctor Manoli, called on citizens to deliver some clue or background so that he can find the person or persons responsible for Cabrera’s death.
Likewise, upon entering the aforementioned service, the worker’s wife, Jeny Flores, called on the authorities to do justice, remembering her husband as a hard-working, humble and simple person.
Although a large number of people came to the church, most remained outside it, since strict sanitary measures were taken, taking into account the pandemic that is being experienced nationwide.
Then a caravan of vehicles -with white balloons- followed the float that carried Cabrera to the respective cemetery, where his burial was finally made.
The Interior Undersecretary, Juan Francisco Galli, referring to what happened, indicated that “the police are working intensely to determine those responsible for his death. We will not rest until this violence ends and return some peace to his family “.
For his part, after the tragic situation occurred, the mayor of La Araucanía, Víctor Manoli, described the event as a vile and cowardly terrorist attack and also assured that “All efforts will be made to locate the perpetrators of the crime”.
