Mañalich added that he took advantage of the trip to take two mechanical ventilators “to help people who have more serious illnesses and also diagnostic tests to understand what is happening and to be able to isolate people who have a positive test.”
He also assured that “the service directors have powers to hire professionals and there are and will be trained personnel in the region.”
Finally, along with thanking “the health workers for what they have done in the area,” he added that “we have no chance to let our guard down, and we must continue to wash our hands, wear masks and take preventive measures.” .
