Crushed by a branch a 59-year-old man died, while carrying out forestry tasks in the Quezada Farm, located in the rural sector of Quilaco in the commune of La Unión.

The service commissioner of the Third Police Station of La Unión, Captain Carlos Bustos, commented that the deceased was cutting firewood at the time of the tragic event.


Specifically, the complaint was made by relatives, while personnel from the SAMU of Río Bueno attended the place, verifying his death.

The prosecutor on duty, had the concurrence of the Police Investigation Section (SIP) of the Carabineros, this with the objective of investigating what happened.

In addition, the persecutor asked the Legal Medical Service to lift the body and perform the autopsy of rigor.
