A new arson attack was registered at dawn this Tuesday in the commune of Cañete, Bío Bío region.
According to information handled by the Carabineros, after the attack, those responsible shot a group of people who were in a vehicle, one of whom died.
The antecedents indicate that at around 12:10 am, three individuals, hooded and armed, reached the Laguna Grande Lloncao inland road sector.
In the place they intimidated the owners of two houses, who had to leave the houses. The criminals then proceeded to spray accelerant liquid and set the buildings on fire.
After burning the houses, these three people stole two vehicles and fled.
Bullet attack
In the middle of their escape they would have found a vehicle that had three occupants, who they indicated were “sharing”. Those responsible for the attack stopped the cell phone and fired at the youths, wounding one in the skull area.
Although he was transferred to the Cañete Hospital, he died from his injuries.
The stolen vehicles were burned by those responsible.
