Under investigation there is a homicide happened this Monday afternoon in Cerro Navia, after a man was shot in the middle of a public highway.
According to preliminary information, the victim -corresponding to a citizen of Haitian nationality- he kept sitting in a square located at the intersection of Galo González and Juan Navarro streets.
It was at that moment that an unknown vehicle arrived at the site of the event, from which it descended who shot the victim at least five times.
Despite being transferred to the Félix Bulnes Hospital, the victim died when he was being treated at the health center, due to a neck injury.
Until the site of the event, Carabineros personnel arrived, waiting for some specialized team that gather more information on the tragic event.
