However, in Los Lagos there has been a different trend. The region – along with La Araucanía – yesterday reached the highest number of active cases of coronavirus since this indicator was reported, a situation that was replicated this day.
According to the latest report published by the Minsal, Los Lagos went from 1,548 confirmed active infections to 1,576 in 24 hours, that is, 28 more confirmed.
This rise in active infections has also had repercussions in terms of sanitary restrictions. In fact, this week the authorities reported new setbacks in the Step by Step Plan for this region and two more communes -Chonchi and Purranque- passed this Saturday from Transition to Quarantine.
