The body of Tomás Bravo – found in Caripilún, Arauco commune – would be delivered this Monday to relatives. Let us remember that the little one died in circumstances that are not yet clear, which keeps the Prosecutor’s Office in continuous investigative work.

The Concepción Medical Legal Service (SML) received this Sunday a constant turnout of people who left balloons, stuffed animals, toys and photos of the minor, demanding justice. Meanwhile, the Public Ministry appealed to three units of the Criminalistics Laboratory (Labocar) of the Carabineros to try to support the theory of simple homicide.

The Public Ministry runs against time to find evidence to support the hypothesis of simple homicide in the case of the minor Tomás Bravo, found dead at the edge of a forest road, in Bajo Raqui, Caripilún, a rural town in the commune of Arauco – Bío Bío region.

Three teams from Labocar joined the investigations, one from Puerto Montt, specialized in footprints; another from Concepción; and a third from Santiago, from forensic entomology, who studies the action of insects in the decomposition of corpses.

While specialists were deployed at the site of the discovery, on the outskirts of the SML in Concepción, dozens of people deposited balloons of various shapes and colors, stuffed animals, toys, photos of the minor and posters demanding justice.

“May they ever put a heavy hand on these men so that they learn, because they leave them free for a while longer and they do the same thing again, the one who made him pay, pay for what he did,” said one of those present.

The chief prosecutor of Arauco, José Ortiz, arrived at the SML after noon and after meeting for an hour with the expert team, made up of doctors, technicians and administrators, he withdrew without comment.

In the afternoon, and without prior notice, the minor’s paternal grandmother, Elisea Salazar, arrived at the funeral parlor, who met with the director of the service, Pía Zepeda.

“I leave with a very great peace of mind, they are working deeply to find out who did so much damage to my grandson, and that, I am calm, and I’m going to go quietly to my town to tell my family that there is justice here “, Held.

The grandmother was accompanied by another of her children, who declared: “They looked after us very well here, they gave us all the explanations we wanted to know as a family. They still do not give us a clear date of when they can give us the Tomacito to be able to accompany him on his last trip to his house in Arauco in this case and once they have taken all the information there they will notify us so we can watch over our beloved nephew , son, grandson ”.

In parallel, the Government of Arauco coordinates with the Carabineros prefecture the operation for the wake and funeral, aimed at avoiding the incidents on Friday, when a crowd attacked the Lebu Investigation Police headquarters, where the great-uncle was detained, said the provincial governor, Oscar Muñoz.

“We are prepared with the Carabineros prefecture of our province to generate the security rings and that this, I insist and repeat, both the wake and the funeral of little Tomás, can be carried out with the most absolute and with the farewell that the child deserves. , and his family of course, “he argued.

During this night, around 10:00 p.m., the forensic entomology experts from Labocar de Carabineros arrived at the SML, together with the director of the service.

The formalization was agreed for this Tuesday, remotely. Meanwhile, the detainee remains isolated and guarded 24 hours a day by the Gendarmerie in the Bío Bío Penitentiary Center, 200 meters from the SML where the body of little Tomás lies.
