Light, camera, shots: six people are shot and one died while filming a street video in Boston

Six people were shot, one of whom was killed, while filming a music video near Boston, police said Sunday.

Police found the six victims in a cul-de-sac Saturday, said Lynn City Police Lt. Michael Kmiec.

He added that one man died and another was in critical condition.

The five injured are expected to recover, he added.

No details were released about the music video that was being filmed or who the artist was.

Kmiec said the motive for the shooting is unclear and that the investigation is ongoing.

By Sunday morning no one had been arrested and the names of those involved were not released. The investigation is now in the hands of the prosecution, Kmiec said.

Travis Lorini, a 30-year-old local neighbor, told the Boston Globe that he heard a burst of gunfire and smelled gunpowder.

Lynn is located about 10 miles (16 kilometers) northeast of Boston.
