Sebastián Leyton had an uncomfortable moment. The Sports La Serena midfielder was arrested this morning by Carabineros. He had violated the curfew, one of the measures that govern the country to control the coronavirus. “Carabineros from the First Police Station of La Serena arrested a couple at dawn this Thursday for violating the curfew and not carrying a pass. They are a 27-year-old man, identified as Sebastián Leyton, and a 16-year-old woman. Leyton, is a soccer player and currently plays at Club Deportes La Serena. It is worth mentioning that none of those involved was under the influence of alcohol ”, says the police report.

Leyton explains the situation. “I don’t watch TV, I didn’t know there was a curfew,” he tells Third regarding the fault that will have to be explained again before the courts of justice. “I was going with a friend and, after the papers were done, I went back home. I thought the curfew was only for the weekends. He was not consuming alcohol either ”, clarifies the soccer player, who declares himself calm before the inconvenience he had to face. The midfielder also did not carry the safe conduct that would have exempted him from the offense.

The steering wheel was one of the heroes of the garnet promotion to the First Division. This year he has participated in four games and has scored a goal.
