Leonardo Valencia’s lawyer, Katia Sánchez, spoke for the first time after serious complaints of domestic violence filed by the former partner of the current midfielder from Colo Colo.

The player has been silent until now, but the whistleblower Valeria Pérez has added more information, including strong audios with the threats of the midfielder. Valencia expects Colo Colo to respect the principle of innocence.

“My client is currently in psychological treatment given all the media exposure not only of his person, but of his children who are publicly involved in such a complex and delicate issue”, the Valencia lawyer told LUN.

Add that “He is very affected by the statements that Valeria, who was his partner for more than eight years, has given in the media, but is being supported by his family and his psychologist, very focused on his work.”

On the other hand, Sánchez affirms that Valencia has no debt for alimony, and the plaintiff had tried to deceive the Family Court in her claim for support. What is the argument? The lawyer maintains that there is a financial agreement of 2013 for the eldest son of both, but later the couple resumed the relationship until March 2020.

“His ex-partner warned him that, should the relationship end, he would do everything possible to destroy his image,” the defender of Leonardo Valencia sentenced.
