La Roja is back: Rueda delivers local payroll for a new microcycle

Reinaldo Rueda summoned 23 players for a new micro-cycle of the Chilean team, the second of 2020. It will be the return of the Red to work, since it had not trained since the end of last February, just before the quarantines began due to the pandemic of Covid-19.

In the payroll, the absence of footballers from Colo Colo and Universidad Católica stands out, since both teams have to play for the Copa Libertadores de América, against Peñarol and Gremio, respectively, next week.

The squad is made up only by local players, since for South America the FIFA date does not run, unlike Europe. In that sense, Universidad de Chile and Unión La Calera, two teams that fight at the top in the National Tournament, dominate the list with six and five selected each.

“Training begins on Wednesday 16 of September at 10:30 in the Juan Pinto Duran Sports Complex, and end the Saturday 19 “, detailed the website of the Red.
