In their social networks, the Belo Horizonte team reported that they conducted tests on the entire squad on Monday, including Chilean striker Eduardo Vargas.
And in the results, only one player, defender Gabriel, and the coaching staff led by the native of Casilda, tested positive.
In addition to the former Chile and Argentina coach, Sampaoli’s assistant appears among those infected, Jorge Desio.
“All those who tested positive are asymptomatic or with mild symptoms,” said the club, so they must comply with the respective sanitary isolation and quarantine measures.
